How will I use these tools in the future.

I liked everything but the wiki. It just seems very cumbersome. I don't see where I would use it that much. I liked Photo Story. I would like to put my whole Library Orientation on video like that. I can see where the students would really like that. I can show it to some teachers who like technology and they would use it, but there are quite a few teachers here who would not want to spend the time doing all the work. The blog was my favorite. It was easy, simple to use, and I liked writing about things. I could see myself keeping up with that. Google reader was also convenient. It makes looking at blogs a lot easier. I would like to explore more blogs. The glog was cool. I can see my teachers using that a lot. I still would like to spend more time exploring all these. I am glad I took this class. I have learned about some interesting things that I want to learn even more about.

Book Review

“A Child Called It” is the very moving story about the heart wrenching childhood of Dave Pelzer. He had one of the most horrible childhoods anyone can imagine filled with severe physical, mental, and emotional abuse. The tortures he describes made me cringe. To think that a child had to endure such horrors is, at times, overwhelming. But the book is also a celebration in the fact that he made it through such horrible things to become a successful, “normal” adult. This is a favorite of our students.

Difference between wikki's and blogs

The difference between a wikki and a blog is that a wikki can be edited by other people. A blog is more like an online journal. Other people can't edit it.
